I was looking at our US map while waiting for the guy to finish cleaning the A/C. I noticed that most (not all) states have their capitals centrally located. Never noticed that before. When the Germans were getting close to capturing Petrograd (St. Petersburg) in 1918, Lenin changed the USSR's capital to Moscow. Sketch (not mine) is from the French Revolution.
