A guide titled as above was given to us when we purchased our
house. Rather than being from the 1950s, our booklet seemed to be from the
1970s. I thought it was odd that such a work be prepared for women as if they
should handle household emergencies different from men-folk, or perhaps have
different emergencies altogether.
